Really good!	And the fires were warm.	The food wasn't bad.	We had a full moon.

July 4th Windstorm Pictures
Witnessing this damage first-hand was almost unbelievable, and without a doubt, unforgettable. I can't imagine what it was like to be up there during this storm...


To think that this was once a full flourishing
forest is a testament to Mother Nature's fury.
Even the pictures can't describe this. It was
like being at a funeral..

that we were on the outer fringe of the real
damage...


The forest service did a great job cleaning
up the mess. Can you imagine this portage
the day after... these were not just the
small trees that got blown down.


Even our campsite, which was way out of the
storms path, suffered pretty significant damage.
